We had a wonderful meal, a family atmosphere, and a friendly and very helpful owner. We ordered almost all the Roman dishes: wild boar stew, excellent chicken rolls, a trio of rabbit, suckling pig, and wild boar. And delicious cured meat appetizers. Everything was excellent, perfectly cooked. You can't pay by card because the debit card doesn't work very well. So bring cash. There's no written menu because it can change every day, so everything is explained verbally.

I'm not right-wing, but I appreciated the decor. This is traditional Roman cuisine, the old-fashioned way: a few items on the menu, but all good. I'd definitely recommend it to a nostalgic friend.

We were immediately greeted with great hospitality, reminiscent of the trattorias of old. The food was delicious and, above all, homemade. I'll definitely be back.

My father loves this place. There are animals on the premises, the atmosphere is family-friendly, and the cuisine is typical of Lazio. The cacio e pepe is amazing, and the homemade pasta with porcini mushrooms is a must-try, along with much more. We highly recommend it; you'll be happy, especially considering the price. Best regards to Gino, Gianluca, and Mariaelena from Enrico and Federica

A little gem hidden in the greenery beneath the Ponte Vecchio. This family-run trattoria-pizzeria was a wonderful discovery on warm Roman evenings. Authentic food and excellent pizzas! Impeccable service and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is charming, rustic. I recommend this place to anyone who likes to escape the hustle and bustle and spend a cool evening. The prices are more than fair.

Feels like home. Consider that I didn't even lock the car. Located in a magnificent and peaceful natural setting on the edge of a small valley and an ancient bridge over the old Prenestina river, lies Gino's trattoria at Ponte Vecchio... On Saturday lunch, we were welcomed and treated like family... Ham and melon appetizer, you don't even have to ask, they just bring it to you... Homemade tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms... Sausages and belly cooked according to a humble, ancient recipe... And I won't even tell you the bill... ridiculous. They offered us a "tub" of ripe, large, and succulent seasonal red figs, freshly picked from the tree. Speechless. I've already talked about the location... Then there's perfect parking and a well-equipped children's play area... My parents played with an adorable pony and a goat, feeding them blackberries and elderberries... That's it. A cheerful, happy, and unforgettable day. An experience to absolutely repeat.

A fantastic debut at this legendary trattoria, which I've had on my lunch list for a long time, and now we're seizing the opportunity for a delicious mid-August lunch (we knew from the phone reservation that it would be a pleasant one, but I'll just say the call ended with a "Here we go!") consisting of an appetizer, two fabulous first courses—gnocchi with kingfish tail, to die for—an excellent, delicate grilled meat, side dishes, desserts, coffee, and liqueur. The price was ridiculous for the enormous quality and quantity. We'll be back to try other dishes, like the Gino-style rolls, which the owner's son raved about. I thank the entire family for the delicious lunch, made with so much passion, authenticity, and warmth. You truly welcomed us as if we were family. These are the kinds of things that must continue for generations. Best regards, Francesco

For those who love old-fashioned, no-frills dining, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. "You eat and you drink," and of course you pay, but it's small and they'll feed you a lot. Bring cash, a healthy dose of nostalgia, and you'll have a great time, accompanied by Gino, who entertains the diners.
